This issue marks the third edition of our Top 25 EB-5 Attorneys tribute . We are once again honored to recognize the efforts of leading EB-5 immigration attorneys , corporate and securities attorneys , and EB-5 specialists . We are also excited to include a new category this year called “ Rising Stars ,” which acknowledges the efforts and leadership of such individuals .
I want to thank the community members who participated in the polling process .
For the first time , we also profile a curated selection of business plan writers and economists who have demonstrated continued commitment to the industry . Without any formal ranking or voting , we want to recognize their involvement in the EB-5 space and create a quick reference guide for readers .
This issue of EB5 Investors Magazine arrives at a pivotal time for the EB-5 industry . Attention is keenly focused on policy and legislative conversations in Washington , D . C . EB-5 stakeholders will enjoy Elliot Winer ’ s analysis of TEA provisions in the Grassley-Leahy Senate Bill as he calls for a fair and reasonable approach . The Chinese visa backlog remains a key issue , and Mariza McKee and Robert Ahrenholz provide a timely analysis of securities law considerations .
Last but not least , this special issue features an interview with premier migration agency CEO , Dr . Xing , who is the founder of the well-known Chinese migration agency called Worldway . We also interviewed one of the leading migration agency CEOs in Vietnam , Ms . Cam Ly from ImmiCa Investment Immigration . As a tribute to the rise of the Vietnamese market , we have translated the interview for the Vietnamese constituency receiving this issue .
In response to interest in emerging EB-5 markets , EB5 Investors Magazine recently hosted its first annual event in Ho Chi Minh City , Vietnam . I want to make sure I report back to the folks we missed . Inside , you ’ ll find an article with pictures of the delegation and our sponsors . The Vietnamese market is growing , and we are here to support with agent education and access to information . Please join us at next year ’ s event – we promise you will learn from it .
Don ’ t forget to mark your calendars for July 17-18 of this year . We will host our first New York EB-5 Convention at the Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel . We are offering one day of agent training courses taught by the very best professionals in the industry , followed by a full day of networking and panels .
See you in New York !
