GATEWAY OF INDIA
The Gateway of India is a 28-yards high
monument built during the 20th century
in Mumbai City. It is located on the
waterfront in the Apollo Bunder area in
South Mumbai and overlooks the Arabian
Sea. Also referred to as the Taj Mahal
of Mumbai, it is the city's top tourist
attraction. The structure was erected to
commemorate the landing of King George
V and Queen Mary at Apollo Bunder, when
they visited India in 1911.

HANGING GARDENS
Also known as the Pherozeshah Mehta
Gardens, named for the great Indian
political leader known for inspiring
Indians to fight for self-governance.
The gardens boast topiaries - elephant-,
giraffe - and horse-shaped trees and
hedges - as well as multicolored flower
displays and amazing sunset views of
the Arabian Sea.
