The second session of the U.S. Investment Immigration Forum
(USIIF), hosted by Shenzhen Cable HDTV “Immigration and
Overseas Study” Channel, was held at the Marco Polo Shenzhen
hotel in China on October 30. Featuring panel discussions on
selecting solid EB-5 projects, conducting due diligence, and negotiating escrow agreement, among many other practical topics,
this two-day event gathered over 20 U.S. regional center directors
and developers, potential investors, and presidents of Chinese
immigration agencies to meet for professional exchanges and
interactive networking. Immigration attorneys David Hirson
and Kate Kalmykov also delivered keynote remarks on project
management and current and future EB-5 program regulations.
